The deadline for applications to our latest internship opportunity is this Monday 17th December at 9am.

The internship role has been created to support RSA Transitions, a new initiative designed to identify and implement practical ways to help prisoners integrate back into society. The team behind RSA Transitions have outlined their vision for future work and now wish to test the feasibility of their ideas at a prison in East Yorkshire.

Tasks will include engaging with a range of stakeholders (including prisoners, ex-offenders, prison officers and voluntary groups), identifying potential partners, helping to coordinate events and other activities, and potentially undertaking primary and secondary research (e.g. surveying).

This will be a valuable opportunity for anyone interested in prisons, rehabilitation, or criminal justice more broadly. We’re looking for candidates who are driven, enthusiastic and creative. Experience of a similar role is desirable but not necessarily essential – it is more than important that our interns have the right attitude and a desire to learn.

The internship will be based near Brough, East Yorkshire, and paid at the Living Wage.
